Abi Weeds

Entrepreneur, founder director of Odylique, Business Parent of the Year 2014, passionate advocate of organic health, beauty and food.

Abi is an economist and management consultant turned entrepreneur. She is the director of Odylique, a multi award-winning brand of organic skin care, shampoo and makeup for sensitive skin that she founded with her mother Margaret in 2003 (originally called Essential Care) and is now sold across Europe and North America.

She is a passionate advocate of organic products for health and environmental sustainability and is widely recognized as an industry expert. She speaks on TV, radio and at events to promote the benefits of organic skin care and to campaign for improvement in organic beauty legislation.

Abi is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and loves to promote British craft and manufacturing. - Odylique is made in Suffolk UK in their own manufacturing facility and has been entirely UK developed over 30 years.

A true nature-lover - when she’s not working, Abi can be found running around forests with a map and compass – she is a former British orienteering champion and is still among the top elite female orienteers in the UK. Married with 2 children, Abi received Mumandworking award for Business Parent of the Year 2014. She has made Odylique a parent-friendly place to work and believes businesses can do much more to offer flexible working for parents.
