Jane is a disability campaigner based in Kenya.
Jane Miano campaigns for the rights of people with disabilities in Kenya. She herself has lived with a disability since she contracted polio when she was eight months old. In 2002 Jane set up a support and advocacy group called Focus of Disabled Persons. She recently spoke at the Leave No-one Behind session of the Global Disability Summit, which was facilitated by Age International and HelpAge.
