Alec Werner

General Counsel and Director of Corporate Affairs at NetJets Europe

Alec Werner was appointed General Counsel and Director of Corporate Affairs for NetJets Europe in June 2011, a role in which he is responsible for providing legal support and mitigating legal risk in all areas of the business in addition to responsibility for the company’s Corporate Affairs.

Mr Werner previously served as General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs, and as Corporate Counsel for NetJets Europe, which he joined in July 2007. Prior to joining NetJets Europe, Mr Werner ran his own law practice for eight years, during which time his clients included Marquis Jet and NetJets. Previously he worked for three years as an internal lawyer for a finance institution investing in emerging markets and was a corporate lawyer with one of Europe’s leading law firms for five years.
Mr Werner is an English Solicitor and received his education from Oxford University, where he graduated with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
