Alex Bigham is a Labour councillor for Stockwell in the London Borough of Lambeth, where he serves as deputy whip and campaigns officer. He is also a consultant for APCO Worldwide, a global communications and public affairs firm. He is a voluntary research associate for the Foreign Policy Centre, where he was the head of communications and projects. He has worked in politics and communications for ten years: for the Labour Party press office; in Parliament; and for organisations such as the New Health Network and Opinion Leader Research. He sits on the board of a housing association in south London and is a member of the Lambeth Children and Young People’s Services Committee. He writes on international issues for publications such as Progress, The Guardian, New Statesman and the Yorkshire Post.
