The mobile phone…it is an extension of the human body. We text, tweet, tag, email, browse, watch videos and occasionally we might phone a friend. These devices now define who we are and what we do, not only in our personal lives but at work as well. Having been on the frontline of IT and mobile solutions for almost 20 years, and now in my role as General Manager for EMEA at Good Technology, I understand just how consumerisation is affecting the Enterprise. As a leader in secure mobility solutions we are able to analyse global data reflecting mobile device trends, and how the corporate world is reacting. This blog will comment on the growing consumerisation wave, as well as providing insight into how business leaders are mitigating the risks it creates, and maximising the opportunities it generates. I may also moan about Newcastle United.
