Going for a walk pre or post dinner can be a significant way in which you can lose weight without being too strenuous. It's also the easiest way to get the kids moving and staying active. 10,000 steps a day is said to help burn around 500 calories.

The majority of the population believes that their ageing process is inevitable. Piling on the fat, losing muscle mass, developing weaker bones and joints are almost now accepted by the mainstream as part of life. Disease and illnesses sadly are becoming just something we associate with ageing and are considered to be part of the whole degenerating process.

Weight loss is a typical topic on many of my clients' agendas. Over the past decade of looking after clients from all walks of life, the majority all arrive with a similar problem and that is the struggle to lose weight. Everyone has tried some sort of diet, method or trend and many if not all, have seen some great success.

Many juices will be a concoction of vegetables such as kale, cucumber and spinach and also fruits such as lemons, grapefruit and blueberries. This all sounds pretty healthy right? It is, you're correct. However, it's not the contents of the juicing diet that is the problem, the problem lies in what the diet doesn't contain.

Each day you'll only get a certain amount of 'oomph' and willpower and this is likely to fade as the day develops and your diary begins to fill. Use your morning oomph! Consistency is key. Following your morning ritual will feel forced at first but stick with it, your perfect morning is just a lemon water away.
