Chief Executive, St Margaret's Hospice, Somerset

Ann joined St Margaret's Hospice 16 years ago as Director of Nursing, becoming Clinical Director and Deputy CEO before taking the role of Chief Executive in 2015. St Margaret's cares for some 3,200 people every year at its units in Taunton and Yeovil. Ann has played a significant role in strategically expanding the charities clinical services, including opening the second in patient unit in Yeovil, expanding community services and introducing a 24 hour advice line. She has also spearheaded the current Fit For Future review assessing how end of life care will have to adapt to cope with rising demand and more complex needs.

Prior to joining St Margaret's, Ann was Assistant Director of Nursing and Clinical Governance responsible for managing specialist palliative care services at Frimley Park NHS Trust and completed her Masters in Health and Medical Sciences at Brighton University.
