Anya Hayes

Pregnancy, parenting and wellbeing writer. Pilates teacher specialising in pre- and postnatal.

I’m a writer and editor specialising in pregnancy, wellbeing, perinatal physical and mental health.
I combine life as a freelance writer with teaching Pilates at my studio in Peckham, south east London, and general mayhem with two little boys.

I'm the author of 4 books:
My Pilates Guru, 2012 (Hamlyn)
A Little Course in Pilates, 2013 (Dorling Kindersley)
Pregnancy: The Naked Truth, 2016 (White Ladder)

The Supermum Myth: Overcome anxiety, ditch guilt and embrace imperfection using CBT and mindfulness techniques (White Ladder) is out now!

I am currently writing Pilates for Pregnancy, to publish with Bloomsbury Sport 2018.

My blog is at https://motherswellnesstoolkit.wordpress.com

I write about pregnancy, wellbeing and Pilates, and am particularly interested in the link between mental and physical health, and how we can stay fit in body, mind and spirit.

My driving passion in my work is women's health and wellbeing. Restoring the core, building pelvic power: enabling women to find their mojo postnatally and generally stay supple and sane in our demanding modern life.
