Ashfaq Ahmad is an 80 year old retired British civil servant and freelance journalist who has devoted the last decade of his life to campaigning to prevent the extradition of his son Babar Ahmad. His autobiography Dhoop Chaoon (Life between the Sun and Shade) was published earlier this year in Urdu in Pakistan.
