I’ve lived on a tiny salary in cities around the world, yet thanks to my Skint in the City know-how I’ve managed to do so in style. I’ve decorated apartments on a teensy budget in some of Europe’s property hotspots, creating funky, stylish spaces for next to nothing. It’s not been plain sailing though – I’ve made plenty of mistakes as I’ve gone along, learned loads and am ready to share my experience with No. 1 readers.

A long-time lover of vintage, I collect and sell vintage clothes, with one habit funding the other in true Skint in the City style. Aged thirty-something, I’m now settled in Glasgow, and spend my spare time finding creative ways to live the high life on a shoestring budget.
