Brenda Nasr

Aritst, photographer, writer, and activist.

Brenda Pearson Nasr is an internationally-published multi-discipline artist from Washington, D.C. now working and living in Belgrade, Serbia as a fashion, portrait, and beauty photographer, as well as abstract painter. Recently, she has expanded these worlds to draw parallels from each medium and incorporate them into her work. Each draw heavily on abstraction and a sense of raw emotion and the feeling of the work, rather than simply the technical precision. This is largely due to Ms. Nasr's own perception as a visually impaired woman whose primary focus is translating the language of the soul and serving as a mirror to those who dare to look, but more importantly, to truly see.
