Director of Policy and Care Improvement for Diabetes UK

Bridget is responsible for the development of the Diabetes UK’s policy and care agenda. She works closely with healthcare professionals, researchers, people living with diabetes, national policy makers and local decision makers, to help bring about better quality care. She has worked at Diabetes UK since 1997, was appointed Head of Policy and Care Improvement in 2000 and has been in her current role since 2012. She has an MA in Health Service Studies from the University of Leeds and is a graduating Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellow.
