Byron Taylor is the Director of unionstogether, the link organisation between the Labour Party and the trade union movement.

A former trade union officer working in manufacturing and aerospace, he has been responsible for ensuring that the voice of the trade union movement has been heard inside the Labour Party, working on three election manifestos and high profile employment rights campaigns. Publicly he has led the development of the trade union movement as an electoral force in its own right, mobilising thousands of union members in key marginal constituencies.

He writes for the Huffington Post in his professional capacity.
