Camino Mortera-Martinez

Research fellow & Brussels representative for the Centre for European Reform

Camino works on Justice and Home Affairs, with a particular focus on migration, internal security, criminal law and police and judicial cooperation. She is also interested in the institutional dimension of Justice and Home Affairs and the relationship between privacy and security both at EU and national levels.
Prior to joining CER, Camino worked in several projects for the European Commission, as part of the Justice and Home Affairs team of a Brussels-based consultancy. She was particularly involved in projects dealing with Free Movement of persons, intra-EU migration, criminal and civil law, counter-terrorism (including aviation security), police and judicial cooperation and International Private Law.
