Chris Rapley

One of the world’s leading climate scientists

Chris Rapley is one of the world’s leading climate scientists. He was Executive Director of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme from 1994 to 1998; Director of the British Antarctic Survey from 1998 to 2007; Director of the Science Museum from 2007 to 2010; and is currently Professor of Climate Science in the Department of Earth Sciences at University College London. He’s also Chair of the London Climate Change Partnership and Chair of the European Space Agency’s High Level Science Policy Advisory Committee.
