Chris Walmsley

Head of planning and co-founder at integrated marketing agency Cubo

Chris launched Cubo in 1995 with his business partner Kerry Simpson. Before that, Chris was at LGM, where he became a board director just six years after graduating from London College of Communication, with a distinction in Marketing.

As Cubo’s head of planning, Chris has sat at the heart of all the agency’s brand campaigns, for clients including Chivas Regal, Absolut, Douwe Egbert’s, University of East London and De Montfort University.

Chris believes in contribution marketing as the best way for brands to cut through people’s indifference to create mutually beneficial relationships and long-term brand growth.

Outside of work, Chris is a lifelong Everton fan and cycling enthusiast, and also sings in old boys’ pub rock band, The Telford 6 – or in the local karaoke joint if ticket sales haven’t gone according to plan.
