Chris Webb

My name's Chris and I'm a new entrant to the world of dairy farming from Shropshire. I have business experience from building high-tech companies which I'm bringing into agriculture, and am enthusiastically learning the ropes as a trainee dairy farmer, working towards milking a herd of my own one day.

At the moment, as well as running my business, I'm working part time on several Shropshire farms building practical skills, and I'm off to Reaseheath College in September to do an FdSc in Agriculture and Dairy Herd Management.

As well as this blog for the Huffington Post, I also write a blog for the Farmers Guardian aimed at a farming audience, about the RABDF Fresh Start Dairy Academy which I participated in, and my progress into dairy farming more generally.
