Dan has been lucky enough to gather a considerable range of experience of mutual and social enterprises, through developing policy at the highest level and delivering in practice at the grassroots. He has worked for the Treasury and the Cabinet Office and in France, Germany and Brussels. He founded the world's first pop-up think tank - POPse! He is acting Head of Policy at SEUK and also works independently as www.commoncapital.org.uk. More practically at the local level he is developing enterprising appraoches to empty shops and land with Pop-Up Bristol and Pop Shop Wiltshire.
