Senior Astronomy Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University


Daniel Brown is a Senior Astronomy Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University. He graduated 2003 in the Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum, Germany, where he studied physics and astronomy. In 2006 he completed his PhD in theoretical stellar astrophysics at the John Moores University Liverpool, UK.

Since more than 10 years he teaches astronomy there and runs the on-site observatory. His research focuses upon cultural astronomy, archaeoastronomy and astronomy in heritage. During this time he also reports upon all things astronomy related.
