Blogger, Political activist, part-time reluctant cycling enthusiast.

Dom Anderson is a political activist and blogger from Derby. As Former Vice President of the National Union of Students he has a passion for helping young people engage with politics.

He describes his journey into political activism as being led by a feeling of powerlessness when he was a teenager. Expelled from school at 15 and in trouble with police it was getting involved with community groups in Derby that gave him the boost he needed to engage more fully with society.

His real passion is community campaigning and helping people who feel powerless by circumstance take power and channel.

Some of the subjects he enjoys writing about are broadly Politics, Race, TV and Football.
