Dominic Rohner is a Professor of Economics at HEC Lausanne, the business school at the University of Lausanne, an Associate Editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association, and a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). His research focuses on political and development economics. Several of his recent papers have studied the role of natural resources, institutions and social capital for explaining armed conflict.
