A research associate with at the Centre for Human and Aerospace Physiological Sciences, King's College London, Cristiana has had a long-standing interest in skeletal muscle. This started with a PhD at University College London, followed by post doctoral research on the effects of Growth Hormone administration on gene expression in human skeletal muscle. She currently studies molecular mechanisms of muscle mass regulation in humans in health, disease and ageing.
