Dr Joanna Mitchell is the Managing Director and Principal Psychologist at Orange Psychology. Orange Psychology provides Educational Psychology Services to schools and Local Authorities around children who have identified special educational needs. They also provide Forensic and Counselling Psychology support to Residential children's homes catering for vulnerable young people in Local authority Care in the North West and Midlands.

Jo has 12 years experience working as an Educational Psychologist and has a passion for helping to remove barriers to social inclusion. She has specific expertise in supporting young people with Autism and early mental health difficulties. With a doctorate focusing on collaborative practice and group psychology, she facilitates reflective spaces for staff and families to help generate positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
