Dr Kate Crowley is Disaster Risk Reduction Advisor at the aid agency CAFOD. She is an applied interdisciplinary Geoscientist specialising in the impacts of natural hazards on society and has science communication. She is also currently co-chair of the BOND Disaster Risk Reduction working group, and sits on the UK Advisory Group on the Hyogo Framework for Action.
