Dr Nick Palmer is Head of Compassion in World Farming UK, responsible for developing and implementing strategy for Compassion’s UK office. Prior to this, Nick was Head of Policy at the Charity. Formerly Nick held a similar role at Cruelty Free International, and before that was MP for Broxtowe (1997-2010) during which time he was heavily involved in animal welfare issues. Nick has a PhD in mathematics and speaks 6 languages. He has had three books on board and computer games published.

Change starts slowly in any well-established industry, but the foundations of support for animal experiments are crumbling. For the animals enduring this suffering, change is coming at last.
