Investigator scientist and cognitive expert

Sam holds a full-time research position at the Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, Cambridge University.

Sam's research concentrates on developing new techniques to assess and train attention during infancy and early childhood. He works both with typical populations and children from 'high-risk' populations such as those with family histories of Autism, ADHD and with genetic disorders such as Rett Syndrome.

He presented Channel 4’s The Secret Life of a 4 Year Old, a documentary following ten four-year-olds as they meet at nursery.
