Dr Seonaid Anderson

Chartered Psychologist and research manager at Tourettes Action. Raising public awareness and how research improves people’s lives.

I am a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and I have a PhD, an upper second class honours degree and a MPhil in Psychology. My current role is as research manager at a charity in the UK called Tourettes Action which supports people with tics and Tourettes Syndrome. My job requires me to manage all aspects of the Tourettes Action research programme covering funded and non-funded research activities. To be an ambassador for Tourettes Action and to raise public awareness of Tourettes Syndrome and the role of research in improving the lives of people with Tourettes Syndrome and their families via Patient and Public Involvement initiatives and providing professional support to clinicians.
