Dr Tom Nutt

Dr Tom Nutt is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Meningitis Now. He joined the charity in June this year from Healthwatch Essex, where as CEO, he managed the county-based organisation to help people access, understand, and navigate the health and social care system. Prior to this he held a number of senior roles within local government, covering health strategy and policy development, voluntary services and finance and change management. He also has strong research and academic credentials having been a Research Fellow at Cambridge University.

Taking up his appointment Dr Tom Nutt said: “It's a real privilege to be given the opportunity to lead Meningitis Now, a charity dedicated to beating meningitis here in the UK. I recognise the enormity of the task ahead and look forward to being part of an extraordinary team delivering outstanding results in meningitis prevention and supporter care.”
