Emma Jane is a survivor of pre-eclampsia, birth trauma and perinatal PTSD. After struggling for many years to access help she now writes on her blog Lovingbaby.co.uk to help others, raise awareness and reduce stigma of perinatal mental health. She also blogs about all things baby and improving care given in maternity services. Emma Jane is also part of Matexp.

Emma Jane also runs a perinatal information and support website Unfoldyourwings.co.uk, and talks to health care professions about her own experience of birth trauma and its affect on families.

Emma Jane works for the NHS as an infant feeding support worker.

In 2015 Emma Jane was named in the top health and care twitter leaders.
