Emma Youle is an award-winning investigative journalist who worked for regional newspapers before joining HuffPost UK. She has covered stories including the coronavirus pandemic, the housing crisis, historic child abuse, the Grenfell disaster, the contaminated blood scandal and won the Private Eye Paul Foot Award in 2017 for her reporting exposing squalid conditions inside homeless hostels. In 2020, she was shortlisted for the Paul Foot Award for her work on the SPAC Nation investigation, shortlisted for the anti-corruption journalism award at the British Journalism Awards and shortlisted as digital journalist of the year by London Press Club.
