Felicity Capon

Freelance writer on all things cultural and women-orientated

I am a London-based freelance writer and a regular contributor to the Daily Telegraph's online women's content, books pages and the Saturday Review supplement. I write primarily about culture and women and consider myself to be a bit of a bookworm. I have interviewed the poet John Agard, authors Gavin Corbett, Maggie Stiefvater, Maggie Shipstead, A M Homes and NoViolet Bulawayo, and the illustrator Tony Ross, the actress Ashley Jensen and barrister and editor of the UK Human Rights Blog, Adam Wagner.

I have also written for the award-winning Lawbore legal website and Leeds Student paper. I have an international degree in History from the University of Leeds where I won a Santander Scholarship to study history in Chile for a year. I finished studying law at the City Law School in July 2011, and I have spent time working for several legal charities and as a paralegal. I blog at www.felicitycapon.com
