Flavio Dino

Chairman of Embratur, the public body responsible for promoting tourism in Brazil

A lecturer in Constitutional Law at several public and private institutions, Flávio Dino has been a federal judge and the General Secretary of the National Justice Council (CNJ), the agency which initiated the work of achieving transparency in the judiciary in Brazil. In 2006, he was elected a federal deputy for the Brazilian Communist Party, and for four years running he was voted one of the best parliamentarians in the country by journalists covering the National Congress (Focus on the Congress Prize). Since 2011, he has been the Chairman of Embratur, the public body responsible for promoting tourism in Brazil.
