Patron of Dignity-in-Dying

Educated at Romford County High School for girls, married & had 5 children. When my first husband became ill with Huntington's Disease, I went to work full time at Eastern Electricity & later helped to run the local youth club in the evenings, completing the Brunel University course for part time youth workers.

When I retired I helped to start a local self-help for families with HD & was Treasurer & Secretary for 17yrs, raising money to help those with HD problems& providing knowledge & help.
I left this group after my two sons died with HD but retain my membership of Huntington's Disease Association.

I am now a patron of Dignity-in-Dying.
