Iain Valentine is the Director of Giant Pandas and Strategic Innovations for the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. Iain hails from Dundee in Scotland and studied at Dundee University before moving into conservation work in Scotland and South America. He returned to the UK to become Director of Blackpool Zoo and moved to RZSS in 2003.
