He is Senior Lecturer in Banking at Manchester Business School. His teaching and research interests are banking crisis, financial innovation, financialization, corporate governance, executive pay, emerging economy finance. His publications include co-authored "After the Great Complacence: Financial Innovation and Politics of Financial Reform", OUP, 2011 and "Financialization at Work: Key Texts and Commentary", Routledge 2008. He has given numerous conference presentations internationally and is regularly interviewed in media internationally including BBC, Bloomberg TV, Channel 4, Russia Today, The Moscow News, BBC Radio 4, Financial Times, The Observer, Bloomberg Insider, Manchester Evening News. ismail.erturk@mbs.ac.uk
