Jade Sarson

Comic creator/illustrator. Creator of Cafe Suada & For the Love of God, Marie!. Winner of the 2014 Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition.

Jade Sarson is a freelance comic creator, illustrator and workshop leader based in Lincoln, UK. She really likes tea, dogs, old books, and role playing games.
She graduated in 2011 with a first class honours degree in Illustration from the University of Lincoln, and started self-publishing her web and print comic series Cafe Suada shortly after. Her style is a fusion of British roots with Japanese influences and combines digital and traditional techniques.
In 2013 she was nominated for Best Emerging Talent in the British Comic Awards. In 2014 she won the Myriad Editions First Graphic Novel Competition, with an extract from her now published book For the Love of God, Marie!.
