James Vella
is A Lily | in yndi halda | manages Injazero Records | writes fiction | travels a lot
James is an author living in Brighton. His first book, the short story collection Devourings, is published by the independent Wounded Wolf Press on 17 February 2014. James is British of Maltese descent and, having spent substantial time in both territories, the short stories that make up Devourings are informed by his travels across the world.
When he isn't writing, James works in the music industry at Brighton's legendary record label FatCat Records, and is known for his own musical ventures, playing in the critically acclaimed band yndi halda and under the name A Lily.
Devourings will be followed by Vella's debut novel.
