Founder of NOW Live Events

Jana Stefanovska is the founder and director of NOW Live Events. NOW focuses on mindfulness, tapping into our creative potential and bringing us to a conscious awareness of the present.

Before setting up and running NOW Live Events, Jana worked at Southbank Centre for 7 years in many arts roles, including creative producer, arts programmer and senior researcher for the literature department. Jana worked across numerous festivals over this period including Festival of the World and Poetry Parnassus - the biggest ever poetry festival worldwide - as a project manager and assistant programmer. Jana curated her first events series at Southbank Centre called the ‘Art of Living’, inviting national and international speakers, artists and cultural thinkers to Southbank Centre as part of the 2013 Literature Festival. Jana graduated from King’s College London with first class honours.

Jana has a strong interest in psychology and is currently studying Psychosynthesis at the Psychosynthesis & Education Trust in London Bridge. This is giving her the opportunity to gain an expert understanding of mindfulness and creative approaches in therapeutic contexts to inform her work with NOW Live Events.

With her inner awareness and passion for wellbeing, she has experienced the power of mindfulness to change lives first-hand. Jana is committed to the practise of mindfulness in her life and guiding people of all backgrounds and ages to realise their full potential through the transformative power of the arts. She is particularly interested in doing this through experiential learning and working across a range of art-forms that offer different ways for different people to tap into their creative resource and bring awareness to the moment.
