The objective of Death Café is "To increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives". Part of this is holding regular pop-up Death Cafes, influenced by the ideas of Swiss sociologist Bernard Crettaz. At the Death Cafe strangers come together to discuss death and eat delicious food. We also offer support to people who want to host their own Death Cafes and a free guide to running your own Death Café is available from our website.
