Keith Lewis, managing director of Matchtech, has 25 years’ experience within the recruitment industry, working in both the UK and the USA. His main areas of industry specialism are within: engineering, energy, marine, aerospace, automotive, infrastructure and science.

Keith has played a vital role in the company’s growth over the years and is recognised in the industry as a highly influential individual, not only in relation to building quality business relationships and partnerships, but also, importantly in helping to shape perceptions in the engineering industry as a whole. Keith is invited regularly to participate at parliamentary, government and industry related events. The skills gap remains one of the industry’s major challenges and Keith is a passionate advocate for cross-industry collaboration in finding a sustainable solution to this challenge.

From a personal perspective, Keith is immensely proud of finding and developing great people in the engineering industry. He feels that the secret of Matchtech’s success, since he joined the company in 1993, is its unrivalled industry knowledge across all engineering sectors and the quality of the individuals across all levels and areas of the business. This has given Matchtech a reputation for filling hard-to-fill skill set vacancies, by opening doors for candidates across all engineering skill sets and sectors.

Through Keith’s divisional management team, Matchtech has also been directly involved in many of the UK’s largest and most ambitious engineering projects in recent times, including HS1, Crossrail and naval defence projects.
