Family orientated, animal enthusiast, looking for life's answers

I am a 30 something Scottish lass, married with a 15 year old son and 4 year old twin sons. One of my twins has hydrocephalus and quadraplegic cerebral palsy with dystonia, I like to research anything and everything which may help him in any way!

His journey can be followed on https//:www.facebook.com/miraclesandme/

I have a great love of all animals, especially the ones who haven't been lucky enough to find their forever homes yet. I take great pride in helping animal rescue charities when I can, either through homechecks for potential homes, fundraising events or simply sharing animals plights online...every little helps in the world of rescue.

In my previous life, before children, I studied Politics and Sociology at University and I gained a BA Hons degree and before this I was a soldier in the British Army, trainee Intelligence Corps Specialist. I am very proud of my achievements as I worked very hard to gain them.

My family are my world, as one of my boys relies on 24 hour care, I had to leave my full time employment as a veterinary assistant to become his full time carer. As with all families, we have our challenges but the good times certainly do outweigh the bad.

I am looking forward to sharing some of my experiences with readers and also learning so much more myself along the way. Knowledge is key I believe, however fun and humour are just as valuable!
