Kim Long is the first ever Green Councillor in Glasgow's east end, winning election in 2017. Her background is in community work with a focus on empowering young people and women, as well as ground-breaking music projects in prisons across Scotland as a founding team member of social enterprise Vox Liminis. Kim is a feminist activist and an unpaid carer, and was named in the Scottish Young Women's Movement 30 Under 30 Ones to Watch.
