Lee Riley

Multiple World Record holder, motivational speaker, personal trainer and former Royal Marine backing the Commando Spirit Appeal

Lee Riley is a former Royal Marine Commando and holder of multiple World Records. He has been endorsed as The World’s Fittest Man after successfully being awarded six Guinness World Records for running while carrying a 40lb rucksack. He has recently been recruited as the latest Ambassador to support a £1m national charity appeal for Commando Spirit. He will lend his experience to train and support a band of brave participants taking on Survive The Yomp - a 30-mile charity trek through the rugged terrain of Achnacarry in the Scottish Highlands in September. The challenge is normally reserved as the final gruelling test of mental and physical stamina all Royal Marines must complete in order to earn their coveted green beret.

Lee’s World Record breaking efforts have received accreditation from Lord Sebastian Coe and Sir Roger Bannister. He is the first ever person in history to hold ALL current running distance category World Records whilst breaking the previous records. From sprinting 400 meters, mile (middle distance), 5000 meters, 10000 meters, half marathon through to marathon and whilst carrying a recognised 40lb pack (18.1kg) as verified by Guinness World Records.
