Luke Smith is Digital Lead for the First World War Centenary at Imperial War Museums. He is responsible for making big things happen outside the museum during the centenary years – online, on mobile and working with broadcasters. He leads IWM’s Lives of the First World War - the UK’s largest digital project for the centenary. Prior to this he worked at Sony Playstation where he ran several projects for playstation.com and the Playstation Network. As well as delivering complex online projects, he project managed the Arts Debate for Arts Council England and has a Masters in Research in Cultural Studies from the London Consortium. Luke is passionate about using crowdsourcing techniques to ‘make history.’
