Mark currently studying a Masters degree in writing for TV drama at
Glasgow Caledonia University. To date Mark has written one novel (Coconut Badger), four plays (Serve Cold, Kamikaze, A Scheme, Coconut Badger) and a short film (The Morning After).
Mark is passionate about 'Creative Inclusion' and believes that access to the arts is a right and not a privilege. In particular explores ways in which non 'theatre-going' sections of the population are encouraged to involve themselves in the medium.
Along with Playwrights' Studio Scotland Mark founded '
Stage to Page' a monthly workshop for new writing.
Mark is on the management board of
The Scottish Writers Federation.
