Founder Of Dads Matter UK, Fathers Reaching Out and Owner of Reaching Out Perinatal Mental Health. Speaker and Inspirational father of the year 2012. Consultant and Project Manager

Mark founded Father’s Reaching Out in 2011 to raise awareness around the detrimental impacts that PND has on both fathers and families.

Fathers Reaching Out was the first organisation to tackle this issue and the organisation has received massive recognition from both the media and the public. In its first year the Fathers Reaching Out website was short listed at the Mind Media Awards, hosted by Stephen Fry.

In 2012 Mark was also awarded, ”Local hero at the Pride of Britain Awards.

Mark was also awarded a social enterprise award and his project and started www.reachingoutpmh.co.uk

Mark is a public speaker and has shared the stage with professors and doctors. He has spoken in many venues throughout the UK e.g.: Prisons, Universities, Men’s conferences, NHS MIND and many more.

Mark has also spoken at Huddersfield University and now speaks every year at the University of Birmingham to students. Mark has also written many articles in magazines on men's mental health and the impact it can have on the family.

Over the last two years Mark has written two books and has become a regular online blogger for many mental health charities. He has appeared on TV/Breakfast TV and has also spoken on many radio stations including women hour, BBC 3, 4, 5 and local and national stations. He has written a free magazine to help raise more awareness of this illness. The magazine includes useful information and links so that it can reach out and help many families who suffer in silence.
