Matthew Channon

Fellow in law at the University of Southampton

Matthew is a teaching fellow in law at the University of Southampton and is completing his PhD in Law at the University of Exeter. Matthew’s research interests are focussed around motor insurance law and the law of driverless cars.

Matthew regularly presents on driverless cars and motor insurance nationally and internationally for the Motor Insurance Working Party of the Association International De Droit Des Assurances (AIDA), and won a 2016 AIDA Academic prize for his paper on motor insurance and consumer interest.
