Maya Mailer is a campaigner, activist and mother. She freelances for refugee and migrant charities, and currently works for Asylum Matters as Campaigns Director. Prior to that, she was Head of Humanitarian Campaigns and Policy at Oxfam GB, where she worked for eight years, living in South Sudan and visiting programmes across Africa and the Middle East. She is a climate activist and one of the founders of Mothers Rise Up, a grassroots movement of mothers mobilising for climate action. She is a member of the Ealing Green Party.
