Meenal Sachdev

Meenal founded Shiva Foundation in 2012 with her husband Rishi. Shiva Foundation is an independent UK charity that works to prevent human trafficking and slavery in the UK. It is funded entirely by Shiva Hotels. Meenal’s career has always focused on socially conscious roles, and prior to Shiva Foundation, she co-founded Connect India, a charity established to empower young Indians through youth leadership and service oriented programmes. Also a Local Councillor for Hertsmere, Meenal is passionate about the power of community and focused, local impact. She is involved with a range of service based activities and social enterprises, including her role as a board member of UnLtd India, an incubator for social entrepreneurs.
