Melanie McGrath is an award-winning writer and journalist. She has written for The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and The Wall Street Journal among others. Her first book, Motel Nirvana, won the John Llewelyn Rhys/Mail on Sunday award for Best British Writer under 35. As MJ McGrath she writes the Edie Kiglatuk series of Arctic mysteries. The first in the series, White Heat, was nominated for the Crime Writers Association Gold Dagger. The third, The Boneseeker is published in 2014. She is published in 20 languages.
